Gateway to the UN System’s Work on Climate Change

The process of negotiating the new climate change agreement with its four building blocks - mitigation, adaptation, technology and financing is presented in detail. The information on the website includes news on climate change from all over the world, access to Human Development Reports, searchable database of adaptation projects, adaptation learning mechanisms, and mainstreaming adaptation into development.

The webportal was launched in 2010. The aim is to raise awareness of the importance of sustainability throughout the UN system and highlight what’s been achieved, what’s happening next and how staff can get involved. Therefore there is information about events, news, case-studies, and the responsibilities within the organizational structures in charge of this process.
