State Institutions
Along with the two ministries, which are directly involved in environment integration into regional development and territorial planning, namely the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works and the Ministry of Environment and Water, there are many other state institutions that also participate in this process. Thus the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry is in charge of developing and implementing the National Strategy Plan and National Programme for Rural Development and the Ministry of Economy and Energy applies the national energy efficiency policy and coordinates the process of elaboration of the National Strategy on Sustainable Development.
