Steering Committee:
The Project’s Steering Committee is comprised of eight members and meets bi-annually. It consists of three representatives from MRDPW, three representatives from MoEW, one from UNDP and is chaired by a National Project Director (NPD) from MRDPW. The NPD oversees the project on behalf of the Project Implementation Partner. It has the responsibility to provide strategic guidance about project implementation and to request and approve changes in the project’s strategic documents.
Advisory Board:
The Project’s Advisory Board meets once per year and serves as a platform for communicating project results and obtaining feedback from a wider array of stakeholders: other ministries, relevant research institutions, NGOs, municipalities, private sector and media.
PMU:
The Project Management Unit (PMU) is located at the MRDPW, headed by a Project Manager (PM) and supported by a Project Administrator (PA). PMU, in coordination and agreement with the NPD and UNDP, is in charge of the day-to-day operations and management of the project. It is situated at the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works.
The management of the project’s funds, including budget revisions, disbursements, record keeping, accounting, reporting, auditing, follows the UNDP rules and procedures in force.
